Hansen’s Beard Company

Hansen’s Beard Company draws inspiration from Scandinavian culture, where beards symbolised strength and wisdom. Today, we believe a beard is a powerful form of self-expression and individuality that should empower you to feel your best.


Our Story:

In 1984, Pedar Christiansen Hansen was born and lived in Frederiskberg, Copenhagen. A city with rich Scandinavian tradition. Pedar later journeyed to the UK, where he worked as a Shipbuilder in the Shipyards.

Descending from Vikings, the Danes have always taken great pride in their appearance and personal grooming. Once upon a time, a strong beard was a sign of strength and bravery.

The beard has truly withstood the test of time and is no longer just for the lumberjack. From baristas to the boardroom, the beard is a form of self-expression and individuality that should empower you to feel confident and unstoppable.
